About me

Hi, I'm Tonia! I have dedicated the past 7 years to working in the field of fertility and maternal reproductive health. Alongside my professional experience, I have had 4 births of my own - 2 of my own children and 2 surrogacy births - which have deepened my understanding of the emotional, physical, and medical aspects of birth.

Throughout my journey, I've become increasingly passionate about closing the gaps in maternal care and fostering safe, supportive environments for  all families. My goal isn't just to help people heal from trauma, but to actively prevent it by advocating for compassionate, culturally competent care from the start.

As a DONA International certified birth doula, I bring both expertise and empathy to the families i serve. I am especially committed to supporting communities that statistically face higher risks and complications in hospital settings - families whose voices are often unheard and overlooked. I believe every parent, regardless of background, deserves to feel informed, respected, and empowered during one of life's most transformative experiences.

My work centers on creating space for both the birthing person and their partner to feel seen, supported, and confident. Birth should be remembered not for fear or pain, but for strength, connection, and joy. I am here to help make that possible.
