About me

I became a doula in 2007 ; As a professional Doula, I’ve received training from certified organizations, and maintain my skills and knowledge through continued education and research. I have continued to stay up to date with relevant information to ensure I’m providing you with the best care possible.

I am a member of the  National Black Doulas Association NBDA, and former member of Capital City Doulas.

Our mission is to integrate evidence based and spiritual practice with each of our life transitions big or small and also seek to be a guide toward  a  practice of dynamic healing. Making sure there are improvement in maternal and infant health outcomes, as well as the experiences of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and in challenging what some see as the over medicalization of birth
