About me
Hi! I’m Michelle Low, a dedicated doula and childbirth educator with a deep passion for supporting families during the most transformative moments of their lives. With over 100 births attended, I bring extensive experience in birth support and postpartum care, helping parents feel empowered, informed, and supported every step of the way.
My journey into birth work began with a profound respect for the strength of parents and the incredible process of bringing life into the world. Over the years, I’ve expanded my skills to offer personalized, nurturing support, guiding families through pregnancy, labor, and the early postpartum period with care and compassion.
I have received comprehensive doula training and hold certifications in infant CPR and newborn care. My approach is holistic, blending evidence-based practices with a deep respect for each family’s individual values, culture, and parenting philosophy. Living and working in Tuolumne, Mariposa, Stanislaus, Amador, and Calaveras counties, I understand the unique challenges rural families face and am committed to providing flexible, high-quality care. With Medi-Cal and some private insurances getting on board, that has only expanded my horizons to who and where I can provide care!
Beyond my professional expertise, I’m a mom of 4 myself and an experienced surrogate, so I understand firsthand the joys and struggles of parenthood. My goal is to empower families with compassionate, reliable support, whether through birth support or postpartum guidance.
I would love to connect and discuss how I can best support your family’s needs. Let’s chat and create a care plan that fits your lifestyle!
