Hello, expecting and established families. I am so glad you are here!
I have been proud to serve dozens of San Diego families as a doula for the last few years. I am committed to supporting my community through physical, educational, hands-on, emotional, and evidence-based gentle care for birth and postpartum. It is my passion and goal to meet each family's needs, tailored to their goals, circumstances, and desires. It is my life's work to ensure that parents and families make informed decisions that they feel are best by advocating, educating, and providing resources for evidence-based information they deserve. I believe in physiological, safe, sacred, informed, and holistic birth and postpartum so every family unit can thrive as a whole!
In just a few years as a doula, I have gained a wide range of experience, leading me to feel confident in supporting those who experience loss at any gestation, LGBTQ+ families, single-parent households, surrogacies, adoptions, high-risk pregnancies, NICU babies, military families, and families of multiples. In my heart and soul, I believe there should be a doula with compassionate, non-judgmental care for anyone who desires the support prenatally, during pregnancy, and through postpartum.
As a doula, I have gained extra insight through Spinning Babies, Bereavement, TENS Machine in Labor trainings, and more. I am currently continuing my education in the field of Lactation Consulting locally at UCSD Extended Studies, where my passion for infant feeding and lactation is growing. Often, I have held space for “faith-based” births to the Christian community, which I continue to offer when requested. Although it is important to me to serve individuals regardless of living situation, beliefs, insurance type, and identity. I feel it is a human right to be cared for equally, with respect, consent, and unconditional love.
