About me
Danesha "Dani" Wallace is a dedicated community leader, full-spectrum multi-regional community doula, and certified community health worker based in Bakersfield, California. A wife and proud mother of five, Dani has supported birthing families since 2005 and is deeply committed to advancing maternal and infant health equity. She is also a certified yoga teacher and mat Pilates instructor, integrating holistic wellness into her care. Dani serves on multiple boards and committees, including the Blue Zones Project Bakersfield, Apple Core Project, and several maternal health initiatives with public health and state agencies. She mentors new doulas locally and through Grounded Beginnings, Sankofa and Black Women Birthing Justice.
