About me

I came into this service 12 years ago, inspired by my deep love for babies and the joy that surrounds growing families. Bridging the space between pregnancy and parenthood is vital for nurturing love in the home—and I feel that love extends beyond the immediate family into the greater community.

Each family I work with is unique, and I approach every situation with care, compassion, and adaptability. As a trained Infant Care Specialist and certified Breastfeeding Counselor, I provide hands-on support during the tender first days, weeks, and months of life with a new baby. My goal is to help families settle into their new roles with more confidence, rest, and peace of mind.

The presence of a postpartum doula can make a powerful difference. Parents often report having more time, energy, and emotional availability for bonding with their baby. With my support, they typically get more sleep, which can ease feelings of exhaustion, anxiety, and overwhelm. I also encourage better self-care for new mothers, and offer warm, reassuring companionship that can reduce anxiety and help parents feel less alone. When needed, I’m quick to connect families with additional resources and guidance.

I’m passionate about my work and deeply involved in our local birth worker community. I also prioritize continuing education to stay current and expand the support I can offer. I am certified in postpartum care through Doulas of North America (DONA) and serve as a Breastfeeding Counselor with the Nursing Mothers Counsel.
