About me
Hello, I am a certified birth and postpartum doula with over 8 years of experience walking alongside families through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. Based in Whittier, CA, I offer grounded and personalized support to help you feel calm, confident, and connected during one of life’s biggest transitions.
This work is personal for me. After experiencing postpartum depression myself, I became deeply committed to supporting others so they don’t have to navigate this time alone. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, uncertain, and exhausted — and I’m here to make sure you feel held, seen, and supported every step of the way.
My goal is to help you feel confident in your decisions and learn to listen to your body and intuition. My calling to this work has manifested in many ways along my journey, including supporting unique families through a trauma-informed lens. My approach to care is not only for the birthing person, but for the entire parent-baby dyad. I love helping diverse families, including immigrants, refugees, single parents, and trauma survivors.
I’m a first-generation Latinx woman and use the pronouns She/Her/Ella. Servicios disponibles en español.
During prenatal visits, I focus on education and preparation — I help you understand what to expect, clarify your preferences, and slow things down so you feel empowered and ready. When labor begins, I provide continuous emotional and physical support to help you feel grounded through each stage of the process. In the postpartum period, I meet you wherever you are — Sometimes that means feeding the baby while you pump, other times it’s just listening, making a snack, or simply admiring your baby with you.
Birth is just the beginning. I’m here to support your whole transition into parenthood — with warmth, wisdom, and deep respect for your journey.
